POINT WILSON LIGHTHOUSE
ABOUT US
The U.S. Lighthouse Society at Point Wilson is focused on preserving, restoring, opening and interpreting the Point Wilson light station for the benefit of the public. We are a branch of the US Lighthouse Society, the national nonprofit corporation that helped to kick-start the lighthouse preservation movement in America over 35 years ago. The Society has an impressive track record of preserving and restoring lighthouses across the country, and is the proud recipient of numerous preservation awards for its work.

The USLHS at Point Wilson is comprised of people who generously volunteer their time, energy and expertise at the light station. We open the lighthouse to the public for interpretation and tours. We work with the USLHS to help carry out the site preservation and restoration plans. And, importantly, we advocate for the lighthouse in Port Townsend, Jefferson County and across the Olympic Peninsula.
